This architect-designed tranquil 1 BR is located in the heart of the Latin Quarter steps from Notre Dame, Ile de la Cité, Ile Saint-Louis, the Marais, St–Germain des Près, Place de l’Odéon, Place de la Contrescarpe, the Panthéon, Sorbonne, College de France, a Roman Arena, banks of the Seine, Jardin des Plantes, Luxembourg Gardens, and so much more. The area abounds with beauty, charm, culture, architecture, students, book shops, cafés, wine bars, bakeries, butchers, fish mongerers, chocolatiers, and jazz. Enjoy wonderful outdoor farmers’ markets at Place Maubert and rue Monge, and a convenient large grocery store around the corner. Visit the famed 400-year-old Tour d’Argent with its legendary wine cellar a block away. Dine at delicious nearby bistros, brasseries, creperies, as well as Japanese, Moroccan, Lebanese, Indian, Thai, Greek and Italian restaurants. Enjoy an Art Déco swimming pool on rue Pontoise or the old-world Turkish steambath at the beautiful Paris Mosqué.

Classic Modern Apartment (660 square feet)
From the bustling street enter through large doors that lead through a generous passageway to a peaceful, tidy, plant-filled courtyard. Ride the elevator up to the 4th floor to arrive at your Paris home. This beautiful apartment designed by Eric Babin offers an authentic residential experience with much more space and privacy than a hotel. Its clean lines, built-in cabinets, elegant simplicity, and carefully chosen furnishings create a soothing, aesthetic contemporary atmosphere within the 19th Century building. It is an intimate sanctuary in the heart of the old city.

Vestibule
The apartment’s entrance hall features a full-length mirror, coat closet, and tall French windows that face the quiet interior courtyard. The Vestibule leads to the Kitchen, Dining Room, Bedroom and WC.

Living Room
The bright and airy Living Room has SW exposure through large floor-to-ceiling French windows overlooking the street. A large framed mirror tops the original black stone fireplace. Full-height bookshelves and built-in storage cupboards with a fold-out desk span the room. Comfortable seating includes an Ambient Group Riviera sofa (that converts to a queen-size bed), an Eames lounge chair, and two Le Corbusier chairs. A small Lim table serves as an alternate work/dining surface. Two Bruno Frattini endtables, a Paolo Rizzato Constanzina lamp, ceiling-mounted dimmable spotlights, and oriental rugs add comfort.

Kitchen & Dining Area
The open-plan Kitchen is fully-equipped with a convection oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. A slate-sheathed island overlooks the Dining Area where a brushed-aluminum Bruno Frattini Lim table with Arne Jacobsen dining chairs seats 8. Two Jasper Morrison Globall lights appear to float like large bubbles and provide adjustable atmospheric light. Floor-to-ceiling cabinets house cooking and dining accoutrements. A full-height window overlooks a small "courette."

Quiet Bedroom
The Bedroom overlooks the interior plant-filled courtyard through large French windows that allow in plenty of ambient light. The queen-size mattress is top quality and firm. Indigo-dyed linen curtains can be drawn to darken the room.

Bathroom & WC
A closet-lined dressing area off the Bedroom leads to the Bathroom, where there is a tub with both a hand-held sprayer and wall-mounted shower, as well as heated towel bars, wall-size mirror, built-in bench and Miele washer/dryer.
